مع ملاحظة أن مؤشري ال D % , و K% وصلوا لل 20 % مما يعني ان السهم صار oversold , أتوقع ان خط ال K بيصير أعلى من خط ال D قريبا و هذا مؤشر جيد لطلوع السهم

PRNewswire-FirstCall via Comtex/ -- David Martin, Chairman of Ivanhoe Energy Inc., announced today that initial oil and gas production has commenced at the Citrus No. 1 well, Ivanhoe's first horizontal well in the Citrus Prospect area. Stabilized initial production rates for the well are 210 barrels of 34 degree API oil per day and 195 Mcf of gas per day. The Citrus No. 1 well extends the southern productive area of the large Lost Hills field in California's prolific San Joaquin Basin. Ivanhoe is the operator and owns interests ranging between 83% and 100% in leases comprising the Citrus Prospect, covering 2560 acres.
The initial production through a 35/64-inch choke is yielding 2,000 barrels of total fluid per day, 210 barrels of 34 degree API oil per day and 195 Mcf of gas per day with a flowing tubing pressure of 270 Psig at the surface. At nearby offsetting vertical wells owned by other companies, reported stabilized initial production rates averaged 125 barrels of oil per day and 300 Mcf of gas per day with a water cut of about 80%. Water production, along with oil and gas, is standard in this field.
A total horizontal section of more than 1,900 feet was drilled at Citrus No. 1 at a vertical depth of 7,750 feet in the Antelope Shale formation, an important producing zone in offsetting wells. A high volume fracture stimulation was successfully performed on the well in mid January. The fracture treatment utilized an innovative technique that has been successfully applied in the nearby North Shafter and Rose fields. The well was cleaned out to bottom and placed on production Wednesday, January 28, 2004, into offsetting sales facilities.
The contracted oil price for the Citrus field is Belridge light type crude minus a US$0.30 per barrel gathering and handling fee (the current net oil price is US$31.70 per barrel). The gas price is the Southern California border price minus 20% for processing and handling (the current net gas price is US$4.64 per Mcf).
Continued successful production from Citrus No. 1 could justify as many as 25 additional horizontal-drilling locations in the Citrus Prospect area. The presence of five stacked, multiple oil zones in this well could justify multilateral horizontal well bores in future wells. The other four potentially productive oil zones in the Citrus No. 1 well have not been tested at this time, but they do produce in offsetting wells.

Each horizontal well at the Citrus project, with a lateral extension of 1,900 feet, is expected to cost approximately US$1.8 million, about 50% more than a vertical well. The Antelope Shale is of Upper Miocene age, and there are many fields producing from this formation elsewhere in the San Joaquin basin. Hydraulic fracturing, or fracing, is a well-stimulation method that increases productivity by creating a highly conductive fracture in the formation extending some distance away from the well bore.

فنياً شكله أكثر من رائع على الديلى و الويكلى ... أتوقع لو أغلق فوق 3.90$ يوم الجمعه أن يصل الى 7$ خلال هذا الربع !

فيه تقرير قريته لواحد من خبراء سايبر ترايدر يقول ان من القطاعات اللي يتوقع لها ارتفاع قطاع الطاقة, و الغريب ان شركات الطاقة لم ترتفع ارتفاع مناسب سنة 2003 رغم وصول برميل البترول الى 30 دولار وبما ان ايفان شركة من شركات هذا القطاع فيشملها الارتفاع المرتقب

أخي قروش كلامك كله صحيح السهم كان عامل مقاومة قوية على الويكلي عند 2.6 دولار
المهم الآن أنه كاسر ترند على الديلي من 7.55 إلى 3.15 يعني هدفه إن شاء الله طيب وخصوصاً

BAKERSFIELD, CA, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - David Martin, Chairman of Ivanhoe Energy Inc., announced today that the company has entered into an exploration and development agreement with Nahabedian Exploration Group LLC (NEG) to farm into NEG's natural gas discoveries at the Knights Landing Project in the Sacramento Gas Basin of northern California.
The Knights Landing Project is on a 14,000-acre block in Sutter and Yolo counties. NEG, the operator, discovered natural gas in four new wells drilled on the project in 2003. Under the terms of the farm-in agreement, Ivanhoe will purchase an interest in the four wells, build pipelines to the four wells, and drill up to 20 additional wells in the area for US$3.8 million. Ivanhoe's interest in the entire project will be 50% after recovering its costs on an accelerated basis.
Each of the four wells drilled by NEG encountered between four and six gas zones. To date, NEG has tested only the bottom zone of each well using choke sizes between 6/64th inches and 12/64th inches. The combined, constrained production test flow rate for the four wells was 2.05 million cubic feet per day. Once the wells are connected to the gas-gathering system, Ivanhoe plans to increase the flow of the wells to attain the maximum, stabilized, long-term rate of production. Prices for gas from the project area are about 85% of the California Border price, which is currently approximately US$5.15 per million BTU.
"The acquired assets provide the company with near-term gas production, additional low-risk drilling and exploitation opportunities in this highly productive gas area," said Mr. Martin. "We will continue to pursue investment opportunities to increase production and reserves consistent with our growth strategy."
Ivanhoe plans to participate in drilling of an initial 10 development wells offsetting the four producing wells and 10 additional exploration wells in the lease block. The drilling program is scheduled to begin in April and be completed in November. Depending upon success, an additional drilling program of similar size may be considered in 2005. Each completed well is expected to cost approximately US$200,000. The primary objective of the drilling is the Starkey Sand formation, which is an established producing reservoir in the region that lies between depths of 2,000 and 3,500 feet.
The Sacramento Basin is a major gas producing area located in northern California. In 2002, the region produced 81 billion cubic feet of gas from 83 fields and more than 1,000 producing wells. The nearest field of significance to the Ivanhoe project area is the Knights Landing field which was discovered in 1981 and has produced over 20 billion cubic feet of natural gas.
