1. MORNING OUTLOOK

Pre-market futures are higher and suggesting that markets may open
flat to higher. European stock markets were sharply higher on Thursday
morning after Wall Street rallied overnight. Japanese stocks snapped a
three session losing streak to end sharply higher Thursday as a 5-percent
rally in the Nasdaq prompted investors to scoop up battered exporters'
shares despite the dollar's weaker trend.

U.S. markets posted a dramatic reversal as benchmark indexes to their
biggest gains in more than two weeks, on optimism the prospect of lower
interest rates will shore up economic growth. Technology, Software,
Retail and Financial Stocks posted massive gains as Nasdaq gained 5.1%
advance and Dow gained 3.1% gain. Volume amounted to 1.49 billion on
the NYSE and 1.63 billion on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Market breadth
was positive, with Advancers were leading Decliners by 2344 to 895 on
the NYSE. Nasdaq's Advancers were leading Decliners by 2235 to 1106.
Dow gained 261 points to close at 8743. Dow's trading with positive
momentum below 50 and 200-Day MA. Dow picked up mid-day momentum
as it bounced off its lower-end of trading channel (8400-8900). Dow also
broke out of the consolidation range and is at a critical resistance level.
Dow could continue to see its momentum upwards if it trades above 8900
level. Watch 8700 for potential downtrend and 8800 for upside breakout.
DOW is trading with positive momentum. DOW's resistance levels are:
8852, 8965, 9105. DOW's support levels are: 8633, 8524, 8427.
Nasdaq posted 65 points on a massive technology, biotech rally as
Nasdaq closed near 1334. Nasdaq quickly moved in to positive momentum
territory and trading below 50 and 200-Day MA. Watch 1300 for key support
level and 1400 for resistance level on Nasdaq in the next few sessions.
Thursday's trading could be cautious and active as investors continue
Wednesday's late momentum.
