Trader appear to be focusing on recent press release announcing
that Honeywell (HON) selected Lantronix' SecureBox SDS100 to provide enterprise class security management and access control solutions that meet the U.S. government's mandated Advanced Encryption Standards for high security installations. According to a recent government mandate, AES certification is now required for security related data communications on government or government contractors' networks, including all devices connected to those networks. Lantronix SecureBox SDS1100 and SDS2100 are the industry's first and only device servers certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to meet Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) for ensuring secure data communication at AES encryption levels.
