RIDGEFIELD, Conn., Feb 24, 2004 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Markland Technologies, Inc. (MRKL) (www.marklandtech.com), an integrated homeland security company, announced revenue results for the second quarter of fiscal 2004, ended December 31, 2003. Revenue for the quarter was $3,256,771 representing a significant sequential increase of 964% compared to the $306,724 in revenue reported for the first quarter of fiscal 2004. This increase is primarily due to sales of our vapor detection system which came about from our acquisition of STR in September 2003. The company reported a significant sequential increase in gross profit of $1,184,146 compared to a gross profit of $49,768 for the previous quarterly period in fiscal 2004. The company also reported a net loss of $827,209, which was comprised predominantly of a non-cash charge of $1,137,162 for compensatory restricted stock issuances associate with executive compensation. The company expects non-cash compensatory stock issuances to be substantially less for the remainder of this fiscal year. This is a reduction compared to the net loss of $911,936 reported for the previous quarter in fiscal 2004. Net loss attributable to common stockholders after deducting non-cash dividends on preferred stock was $0.18 per share compared to $0.19 per share for the previous quarter in fiscal 2004.

"We believe our second quarter performance dramatically demonstrates the strong revenue growth potential of our company," said CEO/Chairman Robert Tarini. "The Chemical Detector and Border Security business areas performed extremely well for us and we expect that they will continue to do so. We also expect that our Advanced Technologies Division will begin to produce increased revenues during the remainder of this fiscal year and beyond."

The company also reported that its proposal to acquire Universal Guardian Corporation (UGHO) made public in a Press Release issued on February 10, 2004 has expired. The management of Markland Technologies has decided to pursue other possible acquisitions to be made in the non-lethal weapons business area.

العام الماضي كانت اقل من 700 الف دولار لكل السنة يعني مبيعات بقالة كومار في حينا اكثر منها !!!

الشركة الان زدات مبيعاتها بشكل كبير ( عندما لاتبيع نهائيا في الربع الاول من العام الماضي او المبيعات تكون اقل من 80 الف دولار ) ثم تقول انها باعت هذا الربع 800 الف دولار فهي زادت المبيعات ربما 1000%

وفرت علي الوقت في دراسة هذه الشركه

وأتذكر بأنني قرأت فبل فتره بأن الشركه لديها تقنيه إضافيه وهي عباره عن شبكه لإيقاف السيارات المفخخه المراد بها إقتحام المواقع بقصد التفجير وهذه الشبكه شبيهه بشبكة لعبة الكره الطائره ويتم وضعها بدلا من القائم الخشبي المعتاد عند البوابات الأمنيه .. فبمجرد أن لا تتوقف السياره عن نقطة التفتيش الأولى يتم رفع الشبه المطاطيه لتصطدم بها السياره وتمتص سرعتها ويتم إيقافها بحدود عشرة أمتار تقريبا . وربما هذا هو سبب الارتفاع مؤخرا بالإضافه الى انتعاش القطاع .

ما رأي الاخوان بالدخول بالسعر الحالي 0.58 - 0.57 ؟ السعر يبدو لي قريب من منطقة دعم قوية 0.45-0.55 والسهم كما هو معروف يتفاعل بشكل رائع مع الأخبار , وبشكل عام حركته خطيرة سواء في الصعود أو الهبوط ! تحت المتابعة آخر سعر 0.575

أرى والله أعلم الانتظار تحت 50 سنت والله أعلم
والسهم مثل ما تفضلت يتعامل جيدا مع الاخبار

هبط في الأسابيع الماضية ووصل 0.13 وربما يحاول أن يكون له دعم في منطقة 0.13- 0.15 . السهم ربما عوقب كثيرا ربما بسبب اصدارات ال Warrants المتعددة (آخرها بسعر 0.34) وايضا السيولة لدى الشركة ضعيفة والبيع المكثف في الأسابيع الماضية لا يبعث على الارتياح, لكن أسهم ردئية من هذه النوعية لا تعترف كثيرا بجودة أو سوء بيانات الشركة. السهم ارتد قبل أسبوعين ووصل 0.24 لكن حصل يمكن تصريف لأن السهم لم يستطع مواصلة المشوار وقفل راجعا إلى مستوى 0.13 - 0.14 و لا زال محافظ عليه و ربما يتبين في الأيام والأسابيع القادمة هل يصمد السهم في هذه المنطقة وهل يرتد منها . متابعي السهم ربما يستحسن أن يضعوه تحت المراقبه في الفترة القادمة و يدرسوا ايضا احتمالات الارتداد أو التراجع من السعر الحالي 0.148
