Vascular Solutions (VASC: news, chart, profile) said after the close of regular trading that it had received marketing clearance from the FDA for its D-Stat Dry 3x3 hemostatic bandage, which is designed for use in trauma and emergency medical procedures. The 3x3 bandage is larger than the company's earlier D-Stat bandage for topical bleeding, which was granted FDA marketing approval in September.
Shares of Vascular Solutions added 97 cents, or 14.7 percent, to change hands for $7.58 in evening dealings.
