DJ Trimble/Earnings/Outlook -2: Saw Growth In Most Units


SUNNYVALE, Calif. (Dow Jones)--Trimble Navigation Ltd.'s (TRMB) fourth-quarter earnings more than tripled on a 9% increase in revenue, and the company said its board approved a 3-for-2 stock split.

Trimble also announced guidance for the first quarter and fiscal 2004.

In a press release Tuesday, the provider of global positioning system technology said its fourth-quarter earnings increased to $15.1 million, or 43 cents a share, from $4 million, or 14 cents a share, a year earlier.

Adjusted earnings, which exclude acquisition and tax-related items, were $10.2 million, or 29 cents a share, which beat analysts' mean forecast of 26 cents. In the year-ago quarter, adjusted earnings were $8.1 million, or 27 cents a share.

Fourth-quarter revenue rose to $135.9 million from $124.6 million.

Trimble said the first quarter is typically a seasonally soft period for most of its businesses, except agriculture.

The company said it expects first-quarter GAAP earnings of 25 cents to 28 cents a share, up from year-ago GAAP earnings of 18 cents.

Trimble noted that first-quarter GAAP earnings include $2 million for amortization of purchased intangibles.

The company also expects first-quarter revenue of $146 million to $148 million, up from year-ago levels of $127.3 million.

Wall Street expects Trimble to earn 31 cents a share, before items, and post revenue of $135 million in the first quarter.

DJ Trimble/Earnings/Outlook -4: FY03 GAAP Net $1.15/Shr


For fiscal 2004, Trimble expects GAAP earnings of $1.30 to $1.40 a share, up from fiscal 2003 GAAP earnings of $1.15.

The company noted that fiscal 2004 GAAP earnings include $8 million for amortization of purchased intangibles and $1 million for restructuring.

Trimble also expects fiscal 2004 revenue of $580 million to $590 million, up from fiscal 2003 levels of $540.9 million.

Analysts, on average, expect the company to earn $1.63 a share, before items, and post revenue of $581 million in fiscal 2004. With respect to its 3-for-2 stock split, Trimble will issue the shares March 4 to shareholders of Feb. 17.

هي وصلت سيبورت قديم

وهو 35.5-35.3 , والسيبورت قوي لانة سيبورت حقيقي ومعة متوسط 50 وفيبوناتشي كرجاحة (انا ما اعترف بهم صراحة )

ومن المتوقع ان السهم قد يرتد من السبورت . ارتداد نقطة او نقطتين

لكن لم اشتري حتي رايت اناس تشتري لذلك وصيت وهو ب 35.8 وحتي عندما انخفض لم اهتم لاني رايت ناس تشتري

عموما السهم مرشح ان ينخفض ايضا (كلام فني من الشارت )
