World's #1 chipmaker reports stronger than expected 4Q sales but stock slips after hours
NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Intel Corp., the world's largest maker of semiconductors, reported stronger than expected fourth quarter sales, providing further evidence that a recovery is taking place in the chip sector following a three year downturn. But earnings were slightly lower than Wall Street was hoping for.
