الرياض ٧ شعبان ١٤٢٨هـ٬ الموافق ٢٠أغسطس ٢٠٠٧م: صرّح المستشار في وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية والمشرف على مشروع مصفاة جـازان ، المهندس/ يحيى بن عبدالكريم الزيـد ، " بأن عملية ترخيص إنشاء وتشغيل مشروع مصفاة جـازان للقطاع الخاص مستمر حسب البرنامج المعلن عنه مسبقاً ، وسوف تقوم الوزارة بطرح وثائق المشروع للشركات السعودية الثمـان المؤهلة بالمشاركة مع شركات نفط عالمية والمتوقع خلال الربع الأخير من هذا العام ، ولاصحة لما تناقلته بعض وسائل الإعلام من أن الوزارة وجهت أرامكو السعودية لتنفيذ المشروع ". والجدير بالذكر أن وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية أنشأت موقع الكتروني هو http://www.jazanrefinery.com خاص بالمشروع يتضمن جميع الأخبار ذات الصله ، بالإضافة إلى قائمة بالشركات السعودية الثمان المؤهلة وشركات النفط العالمية التي تم إشعارها بالمشروع .



Riyadh August 20. 2007:

Advisor to Ministry of Petroleum & Minerals/ Engineer Yahya Abdul Kareem Al-Zaid issued a press release today "confirming that the procedures for granting a license to the private sector to build and operate a refinery in Jazan is progressing as originally planned. Request for Proposal (RFP) to be issued to consortiums of Qualified KSA Applicants and International Oil Companies is expected by 4th quarter of 2007". Mr Yahya Al-Zaid added "there is no basis behind what was declared by some media reports that the Ministry had directed Saudi Aramco to build and operate the JAZAN Refinery Project". It is worthwhile stating that the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals has dedicated a special website for communicating any news and updates pertaining to the Project which can be visited at http://www.jazanrefinery.com. The website includes list of the Qualified KSA applicants, in addition, to the list of International Oil Companies that have been contacted by the Ministry in-connection with the Project

أرجو ملاحظة أن كامل الانتاج سيخصص للتصدير و من حق المستثمر أن يبني مجمع بتروكيماويات في نفس موقع المصفاه للإستفادة من الإنتاج

Initial Studies for Refinery - Petrochemicals Complex

Nama Chemicals and PETRONAS of Malaysia have completed their initial screening studies for a world scale integrated refinery-petrochemical complex in JAZAN - Saudi Arabia. The refinery's capacity is 400 thousand barrels per day (20 million tons per year). As part of the process, the parties will have to apply to the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals to secure crude oil supply contract for the project and be included in the process of the Ministry's prequalification and competitive selection procedure.

Nama Chemicals is a Saudi joint stock company and is the largest producer of Epoxy Resins in the Middle East and investments in various petrochemical joint Ventures and operates its own chemical projects in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

أتمت شركة نماء للكيماويات وشركة البترول الماليزية بتروناس الدراسات الاولية الخاصة بإنشاء مصفاة تكرير ومجمع للبتروكيماويات في المملكة العربية السعودية . تبلغ الطاقة الإنتاجية للمصفاة 400 ألف برميل يومياً ( 20 مليون طن في السنة). سوف يقوم الشركاء بتقديم طلب تخصيص النفط الخام للمشروع لوزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية والعمل على الوفاء بمتطلبات الوزارة الخاصة بالتأهيل والمعايير التنافسية لذلك. شركة نماء هي شركة سعودية مساهمة وتعد أكبر منتج لراتنجات الإيبوكسي في الشرق الأوسط ولها إستثمارات عديدة في مجال المواد الكيماوية والبتروكيماويات ولديها ثلاثة مشاريع كيماوية في مدينة الجبيل الصناعية. شركة البترول الماليزية بتروناس هي شركة عالمية تعمل في مجال البترول والغاز والبتروكيماويات. تصنف بتروناس من أكبر عشر شركات رابحة في العالم. بالإضافة إلى إستثمارات بتروناس الكبيرة في إنتاج وتسويق الغاز والبترول في ماليزيا أقامت الشركة ما يزيد على خمسة عشر (15) مشروع للكيماويات في ماليزيا ولها إستثمارات كبيرة حول العالم في مجال إنتاج وتصدير النفط والغاز.
