As a result of strong shipments to date and demand for the remainder of Q2, from all four major disk drive customers, co expects total revenue to be approximately 15-20% above the total revenue in the prior quarter of $140.3 mln, or a range of $161-168 mln, Reuters consensus is $148 mln. In addition, co expects the net margin to be approx 15%. Co's previous outlook for Q2 was that revenue could be comparable to or up to 10% higher than Q1. Net margin was expected to be in the range of 13-15%. "We are very pleased with the continuing strength of demand for our products in 2005 and the expanding digital storage market growth opportunities for disk drives and disks. As a result, we are working with all of our customers on media capacity requirements". Co is proceeding with upgrading and improving the efficiency of media equipment and has increased finished disk capacity, from 25 mln in Q1, to approx 26 mln per quarter in Q2.

AGU Agrium Inc acquires Canadian Fertilizer Distribution assets for approx $22 mln; expected to close in Q3 (19.53 +0.12)
Co announced that it has reached an agreement in principle with Imperial Oil to acquire its Western Canadian fertilizer distribution assets. Under the Agreement, AGU will acquire the fertilizer storage and distribution assets and associated long-term leases for land at over 190 independently operated retail locations. The Agreement also includes exclusive fertilizer supply agreements with the independent operators. This is expected to result in a significant increase in AGU's sales to these retail locations. The purchase price of $22-million will be funded from cash on hand. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2005.
