NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Shares of Intel fell almost 4 percent Tuesday as the world's largest chipmaker felt the sting of a Wall Street research report that called into question the company's financial outlook



Lehman Bros. tech analyst Dan Niles wrote that he expects the chip giant to cut its 2002 per-share earnings estimate by a "few cents" and its 2003 estimate by "up to a nickel" when it provides investors with a midquarter update on Thursday

Niles also expects the chipmaker to narrow its expected range for third-quarter revenue to $6.4 billion to $6.7 billion from $6.3 billion to $6.9 billion. He continues to rate the stock "underweight" and has a $22 price target
